Do not postpone three things

Sayyidina Ali ibn Abu Talib (RA) reported that the Prophet (SAW) said to him,“O Ali! Do not postpone three things: prayer when it is time for it, funeral when it is ready and the marriage of an unmarried woman when a suitable match is found.

Virtues of Zam-zam water

1.      Zam-zam water is from jannah (paradise).
2.      Zam-zam is the best water on earth.
3.      Zam-zam is a cure for every sickness.

Sayyiduna Ibn Abbās رضي الله تعالى عنهreports that Nabi صلى الله عليه وسلمmentioned: The best water on the surface of this world is zam-zam. In it is food for the hungry and cure for the sick. (Tabarāni)

Sayyiduna Jabir رضي الله تعالى عنهreports that Nabi صلى الله عليه وسلمsaid: Zam-zam is for what it is drank. (i.e. whatever intention/dua is made when drinking Zam-zam it will be fulfilled). (Ibn Majah)

Stone From Jannah

Stone From Jannah

Stone From Jannah
Stone From Jannah
The Hajar al-Aswad is a stone from Jannah. When making Tawaaf, if one touches the Hajar al-Aswad, his sins are forgiven.

Who wouldn’t want the honor to touch the stone from Jannah? Yet Shari’ah says, if by reaching the Hajar al-Aswad you will hurt someone you should not go to the Hajar al-Aswad.

Hadhrat Mufti Ebrahim Desai Saheb (Damat Barakatuhum) has stated:
” The eyes, ears, hands, feet and all the other limbs of the body are an Amanat (trust) from Allah (Subhanahu Wa Ta’la). It is necessary that one return all these limbs free from filthy images, Haraam acts, foul language, backbiting, Zina and all other sins since a trust has to be returned as it was in it’s original state”.

The Month of the Quraan

0 comments | Read more...

‘’The month of Ramadhan  in which was revealed the Qur’an, a guidance for the people…’’
{Al Baqarah-2:185}.
The graceful month of Ramadhan has set in; the month, during which the gates of Mercy are wide open, the gates of Hell are shut and the Shayateen are chained up. The month of the Quran,in which the Quran was revealed. It is a month chosen by Allah Azza wajal as a month of the Quran and fasting; the act’s of Ibadat that Allah Azza wajal made special to Him.
Rasulullah Sallallāhu Alayhi Wasallam said: obtain Barakah and blessings from the Quran for it is the spoken word of Allah.
Just as a magnet draws items of metal similarly does the Quran draw the mercy of Allah. It was the habit of the pious to recite the Quran abundantly in the Month of Ramadhaan. Hazrat Sheikh Zakariyyah (Ramatullahi alayh) writes: I am greatly pleased seeing how the womenfolk vie with each other, trying to recite more Quran than the others, in spite of domestic responsibilities,15-20 juz of the Quran is read by one daily. Our pious have experienced the blessings of the Quran. We too can experience it. The Quran is the same, its blessings are the same, but our hearts are different. When we build a connection with the Quran we too will experience the blessings and power of the Quran.
When reciting the Quran, condition the mind to think Allah is talking to you. This will assist in enjoying the recitation of the Quran and deriving maximum benefit from it. Hazrat –e- Aqdas Moulana Shah Hakeem Muhammad Akhtar Saheb(Damat Barakaatuhum) mentions that when one intends to recite the Quran, ponder that Allah has commanded, “recite my speech to me, let me see how you recite”. Ponder that when you recite the Quran in front of some high ranking person, then how beautifully you attempt to recite. When Allah is most definitely listening, then how much more beautifully should you attempt to recite. Whilst reciting, if one becomes unmindful, then renew this thought. After practicing for some time, the heart will easily concentrate. Create an environment of Quran reading at home. Read as much Quran as you can.
Dear sisters; Ramadan is not about showing off the talented Chef in you, but about purifying your soul. Instead of spending several hours in the kitchen trying out new recipes and preparing lavish meals, Why not spend only an hour making a simple dish that is enough for your family and seize every second of your time in things that would increase your rewards in this beautiful Month. This is the month wherein the rewards for all good deeds are multiplied by 70 or more.So for each letter we recite of the Quran we will gain 70 or more rewards. Subhanallah! how generous and merciful is Allah Azza Wajal! Can you imagine how much more rewards we will be adding to our scales if  we recite the entire Quran just once! How about twice?

The Month of the Quraan

Make the primary focus of your day to be Ibadah and Quran recitation. Many have the impression that Ramadan is a month of decorating the Iftar table with all kinds of lavish and elaborate foods. We should realize that Ramadan is not about forbidding ourselves from food but about nourishing our souls with good deeds. Reading the Quran nourishes the soul the way healthy, nutritious food rejuvenates the body. So start feeding your soul! Set yourself daily targets of how much Qur’an you will recite and devote much of your worship on reciting the Qur’an as it is the month of the Qur’an.Compete with members of your household in completing the Quran. At the least, compete with your own previous deeds by making an intention to recite more this year than last year.
let us make this month of Ramadhan, the month of recitation of the Qur’an, the month of prayer, the month of worship, the month of re-invigorating our Iman and purifying our hearts.

How To Seek Help From Allah

When you feel alone. When everything you see is dark and grey. When you taste the bitterness of defeat. When you cannot reach out and touch your dreams. When all hope seems lost. You can either let this be your breaking point, or make it your turning point. What’s it going to be?
Do not lose hope in Allah, for He is the Creator. He will create another way for you. Never get tired of asking Allah for whatever you need.Allah says in the Quran: “And seek help in patience and prayer…” [Al-Baqarah: 45]

Way of Seek help from Allah

keep making Dua to Allah.Allah always answers prayers, but in his time not ours. He uses difficult times to teach us dependence and reliance upon Allah. He uses difficult moments to teach us humility and make us more humble.
Keep praying, keep striving, keep doing good, and keep being thankful, for indeed these qualities will improve your life in this world, and will be your means to entry into Jannah in Insha’Allah.

The different branches of Shariah

The different branches of Shariah

The different branches of Shariah

Shariah consists of five branches:
1. Aqaa’id – Islamic Beliefs
2. A’maal- righteous deeds
3. Mu’amalaat- transactions/financial dealings
4. Akhlaaq- good character
5. Husne- Mu’asharat- Beautiful conduct. To refrain from inconveniencing others.
All these five branches make up Shariah in totality. Every branch of Deen has equal importance. It is unfortunate that the fifth branch of Shariah has been totally neglected by people.
Mu’asharat refers to having good conduct with others. The essence of Mu’asharat is that no person should be inconvenienced by our actions in any way. We should all try to make a concerted effort towards this cherished goal.
The essence of Mu’sharat can be summed up in the following Hadeeth:
حدثنا قتيبة حدثنا ليث بن سعد عن بن عجلان عن القعقاع عن أبي صالح عن أبي هريرة عن النبي صلى الله عليه و سلم قال : المسلم من سلم الناس من لسانه ويده والمؤمن من أمنه الناس على دمائهم وأموالهم (ج2ص379ر8918):
تعليق شعيب الأرنؤوط : إسناده قوي
وهو في (سنن النسائي:ج8ص104ر4995)
Rasullullah (Sallallahu Alayhi wa Sallam) said: “The true Muslim is he from whose tongue and hand, other people are safe.”
Hadhrat Moulana Ashraf Ali Thanwi (Rahmatullahi Alayhi) has discussed the topic of Mu’asharat in detail in his treatise entitled “Muslim Way of Life”. Hadhrat (Rahmatullahi Alayhi) has discussed the Aadaab of nearly every Islamic prectise.
Every person should endeavor to read through this priceless treasure of social ethics and learn how a true Muslim should carry himself in the social strata. (Pg.36-44, Rightway Publications)
Hadhrat (Rahmatullahi Alayhi) states: “It should now be realized that Mu’asharat is an inseparable part of the Deen. A perfect Muslim will therefore, be one who adopts all the branches of Deen.” (Pg.44, Rightway Publications)
